Using Internet Resources

In the information age, the internet can be an invaluable source of automotive information.  This is the fastest way to research different vehicles, locate cars, and do preliminary shopping comparisons.  Over 50% of all first-time car buyers do all of their car research online.

Actually buying online is another matter entirely.  Currently, only one in ten new-car purchases happens online.  In the next five years, however, that percentage will probably rise to well over 50%.  In the used-car arena a smaller percentage of buyers are using the web, but their numbers are also increasing.
